Our overseas reporter Margarita Sanchez, gives an insight into the real events that took place in the Suez.

Speaking to one of the crew members sister, Petra, a 32 year old goat farmer and part time brain surgeon, Petra told Sanchez Chronicle, of the true events that took place that afternoon in the Suez Canal.

The captain had entered the bridge at 5:14 pm, he [the captain] was a little anxious about his upcoming dinner party, it was a black tie affair and had guests including the great, great, grandson of the engineer of the Suez Canal and Kevin the stowaway.

The Captain shouted, "has anyone my ships cumber-bun, the helmsman, Afarrh Morentey which was his first day

at the helm, miss heard the captain and thought he [the captain], had given the order for the ship to come about.

As luck would have it, Afarrh noticed an excavator about to fall into the canal, with a careful maneuver using a slight touch of the steering lever, Afarrh was able to bring the ship right up to the excavator, [as show in the photo] preventing it and its operator from serious damage and injury by falling into the canal.

For Afarrh's courageous actions, he was promoted to captain and was given his own cumber-bun.

The excavator operator lost his job on the grounds of negligence, and has gone back to his old job as a circus clown.
