Now this is the place for a Seafood Platter

Well I am a stickler when it comes to seafood platters, most restaurants forget to bring a bowl for the shells and another bowl to wash your fingers in as eating seafood can get quite messy at times.

However, Crusoe's staff amazed me with actually bringing everything out before the platter arrived finger bowl, a bowl for the shells, crab crackers and eating instruments.

A three tiered platter came out full of both hot and cold seafood delicacies which made my mouth water as soon as I saw it.

The hot food was hot and tasty the oysters were fresh and plump, the prawns just beckoned to be eaten.

The crispy batter on the fish cocktails crunched as you bit into it.

Different sauces accompanied the platter which added to the flavour of this

mountain of seafood.

Not to mention that the wine at Crusoe's was reasonably priced as was the Seafood Platter.

Sitting outside overlooking the lake taking your time and enjoying every bite and never mind if you cant eat it all, you can ask for a doggy bag and take the rest home.

A surprise to my taste buds

I must admit Crusoe's on the Lake at Belmont NSW was a surprise to my taste buds. I don't really give a good review not because I am that way inclined but when the effort is put in with good service good food and a good outlook over the water and reasonably priced then what can I say, it's a thumbs up for this one.
